The thing that is so remarkable about those doors is that they have basically been outdoors for so long and they are still so beautiful. The craftsman who made those doors probably got A's in both art and shop, and gold stars no doubt!
I saw these doors in 1991, they didn't look quite like this...I think they have been amazingly restored! You can really see the detail now! Wonderful! --Kate M.
